Unlike old-fashioned doorway bars with visible screws that can catch on socks or look messy, this strip uses a hidden base plate. Expert Tip: To get a perfect fit, install the base plate directly onto the subfloor before laying your final floor covering. Once your floors are down, simply choose the clip size that matches your height difference and snap the silver top plate into position. It provides a much cleaner, safer, and more architectural finish than standard screw-down bars.
