Norbreck Expert/Design Tip
"The 500mm Rule" — When installing horizontal waste runs for basins or baths, ensure your pipe clips are spaced no more than 500mm apart. Plastic pipes can expand and soften with hot water; without proper clipping, they will "belly" or sag, creating water traps that lead to slow drainage and foul odours. Always dry-fit your solvent weld connections first to ensure your falls (slopes) are correct before applying cement!
