"The 1mm Allowance" — When choosing your trim depth, always select a trim that is 1mm deeper than your tile thickness. If you are using 9mm tiles, this 10mm ELT086 trim is the perfect choice. This extra 1mm allows for the "bed" of adhesive behind the tile, ensuring the tile sits perfectly flush with the edge of the trim. For a flawless finish, use a dedicated metal mitre box when cutting corners to ensure your 45-degree joins are razor-sharp and gap-free.
